A family member contacts Essential Funerals by phone or online.
Our experienced team will guide you through the first steps, explain the simple process and answer any questions you may have.

WE ARRANGE WITH YOU:
- Collection of your loved one from place of death
- Assist you with the completion of all paperwork, either by telephone or in person at our Northumberland office
- Guide you through the registration process
- Help you choose a cremation or burial option that is right for you and your loved one
YOUR LOVED ONE COMES INTO OUR CARE
We bring your loved one into our care and transfer them to our private mortuary at Northumberland Crematorium & Woodland Burial.
Visit your loved one in our peaceful chapel of rest. Unlike many national direct cremation providers, we offer families the opportunity to spend quiet time with their loved one in person, within our own facilities in Northumberland.
This optional service provides comfort, reassurance and the chance to say goodbye in a calm and private setting
